Kevin Long, senior planning and policy analyst at Montgomery College in Maryland, joined us yesterday to speak about how the college uses Career Coach and other EMSI data to drive student success and help students understand the connections between the college’s programs, transfer opportunities, and careers.

“[Our pathway approach has] allowed us to expand our program linkages to include careers within Career Coach that a lot of community colleges typically don’t train students for,” Long said. “Our thinking all along has been that if a student wants to be a doctor, we have programs here at the college that can serve as a stepping stone.”
