PowerMock is a Java testing framework that allows users to mock static methods, final classes, constructors, and private methods in unit tests. It enhances the capabilities of other mocking frameworks like Mockito and EasyMock. PowerMock is used to write tests that are capable to run where and when needed without dependency on other codes or external resources.
