With the pre-release this week of our most current data, we’d thought it would be intriguing to show unemployment figures by occupation on a national scale. The figures below are based on U.S. county-level data through November of last year.
The first grouping, Farming, fishing and forestry, is a bit of anomaly since it is largely made up of seasonal workers. But the Construction (11%) and Production (10%) numbers are no doubt telling given the current economic turmoil.
