It is also the message of Lightcast’s 2025 Talent Attraction Scorecard. This annual ranking — now in its tenth year — shows how demographic shifts, quality of life, affordability, and industry ecosystems shape where talent is moving across the US. The latest results highlight Florida and Texas as talent powerhouses, but also warn of risks: an aging population, shortages of blue-collar workers, and the danger of overconcentrating talent in a few hubs.
