Using Welsh Labour Market Insight to Support the Jobs of the Future

Careers Wales has just released an exciting new portal aimed at career seekers, which explores some of the most important industries in the country, and the careers that are available to them. Future Jobs Wales uses Lightcast data to offer a wealth of insights on the jobs within these sectors, including the numbers of people they employ, the salaries they pay, and the projected demand for these roles over the coming years. We are joined in this webinar by Sue Davies from Careers Wales, and James Scorey from Cardiff and Vale College, to discuss how the new portal can help users better understand the various career journeys they might want to think about embarking on, how it can be used in Careers Advice and Guidance sessions, and ultimately how it can help close the skills gap by empowering people to train for the roles that employers need to fill.
