Beyond The Buzz

The global labor market stands on a precipice, right as artificial intelligence is making the jump from a niche technological innovation to a widespread function of everyday work.

This raises difficult questions for those entrusted with preparing the workforces of tomorrow: How do I make sense of all the new information and disruption happening so quickly? And how can I craft a workforce strategy in response?

Job Analysis, Rebooted

For decades, job analysis has been critical—but also complicated, inconsistent, and stuck in the ‘90s. Now, AI, real-time labor market data, and dynamic skills ontologies are transforming how we understand work, making it possible to build, maintain, and scale job architectures faster and more accurately than ever before.

In this webinar, we’ll explore why job analysis remains the overlooked backbone of modern workforce strategy—and how new tools and methods are finally making it easier to do (and do well). You’ll hear from leaders who’ve reimagined job analysis in large, complex organizations and discover practical strategies to move from static, legacy job descriptions to skills-based design at scale.

The Tree of Value

HR trends come and go, but four disciplines within the field—people analytics, talent intelligence, workforce planning, and behavioral science—have proven increasingly valuable. These are the four branches of the “Tree of Value,” and by understanding how human capital data informs all of them, we can make even better workforce decisions. Learn how to see your own field from a new perspective, create better strategies using better data, and use it to break down silos within HR organizations.

The Speed of Skill Change

Over the past three years, the average job has seen 32% of its skills change.

It's abundantly clear that the labor market today is much different than the labor market of three years ago—and now, skills give us a lens to see exactly how much. Change in the labor market is often gauged through job transitions, and jobs created and lost. But that doesn’t tell the whole story. Even if a job isn’t created or lost, it can still change. And the average job has seen one third of its skills change in three years, and 25% of jobs have seen 75% skill turnover.
