Ear Lavage

Ear lavage is a specialized skill used to clean out excess ear wax from the ear canal. It involves the use of warm water or saline solution, which is gently sprayed into the ear canal using a specialized ear syringe or irrigation device. The softened ear wax is then suctioned out or rinsed out with more water, leaving the ear canal clean and free from buildup. This procedure is often done by medical professionals such as audiologists, nurses, or doctors, and should not be attempted at home without proper training and guidance.
