Axonometric Projection

Axonometric projection is a specialized skill used in technical drawing and architecture to create accurate three-dimensional representations of objects on a two-dimensional surface. It differs from other types of projection, such as perspective or isometric, in that it maintains the proportions and angles of the object, regardless of its position or orientation. This makes axonometric projection particularly useful for showing complex structures or designs that would be difficult to visualize in other ways. To create an axonometric drawing, a series of parallel lines are drawn at a fixed angle to each other, forming a grid that can be used to accurately depict the object being represented.
