Emsi Update: Canadian Job Posting Data Now Live

Emsi is pleased to announce the release of job postings data for Canada! This new data allows users to better understand the positions businesses are trying to fill, as well as the specific skills and qualifications they are looking for. Aggregated from millions of active postings on the open web, the data is de-duplicated, organized, and available now for all users with a subscription to Canadian labour market data.

This update provides five user-friendly reports, including the popular Job Posting Analytics (JPA) report. Packed with the same powerful filtering and search capabilities as the U.S. version, Canadian JPA has been fully regionalized to capture the unique job titles and occupations that make up the Canadian labour market.

Now Canadian colleges, universities, economic and workforce developers, and businesses can gain unparalleled insight into employer demand for skilled workers in their region. Emsi job posting data provides real-time answers to pressing questions, including:

What are the top businesses posting jobs in your province?

Vancouver CMA

What jobs are they posting?

Montreal CMA

What are the most in-demand skills for those jobs?

Toronto CMA

JPA also makes it easy to dig deeper by refining your search results. Simply choose the criteria you wish to focus on (or exclude) and the report updates instantly.

To learn more about the advanced search and filtering functionality of JPA, see our previous feature update post, with examples.

If you have any questions or would like a walk-through of the new reports and how to use them, please reach out to your account manager or contact us—we’d love to help you discover how detailed job postings data can make an impact for your organization.
