Since investing in Lightcast’s labour market research tool for the Further Education sector – FE Analyst – in 2023, Bath College has been seeking to use the insights they are gleaning from it to shape a number of key operations across the institution. These include:

• Embedding skills data across the whole college from course design to careers advice

• Using insights on local employer demand to feed into their curriculum planning

• Applying market insights to provide an evidence-base for numerous initiatives
