All AWS subscribers in the EU and EFTA countries are now able to access over 40 datasets - each of which includes a wealth of datapoints describing labour markets in Italy, Spain, France, Germany & Switzerland - directly from this page with one click of a button.

What do our labour market datasets include?
All our datasets are based on ISCO08 and ESCO classifications and include labour market data covering job posting IDs, occupations, skills classifications, and sectors. But that’s not all - you can explore even further and see salaries for specific roles, company names, and job requirements such as education and experience. So, for example, you may be searching for:
What are the top 10 employers for engineering occupations in my country?
What skills are required for consulting roles nowadays?
How do different regions compare to each other in terms of recruitment growth?
What are the fastest growing industries in my region or nationwide?
These are just some of the myriad of questions our labour market datasets can answer. We offer different packages to suit different use case, including those who just want high-level data to spot and understand major trends, those who want to get deeper into the nitty gritty of specific roles and regions, plus additional features such as Lightcast Taxonomies (Occupations and Skills), which offer far greater granularity, or the raw data, which includes actual job posting descriptions.
What countries do these datasets cover?
There are five country-specific datasets: Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Plus, we offer a package that combines all the data for these five countries, and an even broader package, containing data for all 27 EU countries.

How does it work?
Make sure you are logged into your AWS account. Purchase a dataset by clicking on the orange “Continue to subscribe” button and making a subscription request. All you need to fill in is your name, email address, and intended use case.
You will then receive an email confirmation that your request has been approved, and voilà! You have officially gained access to Lightcast’s unparalleled labour market data. You can access it in the AWS Data Exchange through Amazon S3.
Use AWS Data Exchange to set up your environment, such as AWS IAM Securities. Then, you can use Amazon’s own tools, such as AWS Athena, and SQL to query the data. Our team can support you by sharing data modelling language scripts, which make the query process even easier. You can also use AWS QuickSight or your favourite self-service business intelligence tool.
